The documentation is a rich resource that is now available on the new IMA website. Jay Hartwell at the University of Hawaii has admirably organized the conference documentation, including videos of keynote speeches, demonstrations, roundtables and most of the paper presentations. Setsuko and Hiroki Morinoue, the essential organizers of IMC2017 Hawaii, are stepping down to make way for “younger, more energetic members.” IMC2017’s beautiful execution and wealth of experiences would not have taken place had it not been for their perseverance, resourcefulness and fast response during a difficult time for the organization after the loss of IMC founder Keiko Kadota in January 2017.
